INGAWOOD | Written and Directed by Cami McCullough and Tessa Hall
INGAWOOD is a fully improvised, hour-long mockumentary following two foreign test tube babies as they “thrive” and try to survive in Hollywood.

As the centerpiece of our comedy duo @camiandtess, the project blends bold visuals, absurdist humor, and character-driven storytelling.

Introducing INGA and INGA, future Hollywood stars...

INGA KOLA COMMERCIAL

INGA and INGA are original characters created by Tess and I. After deciding we were going to make a mockumentary, we sat down and wrote scene outlines and cast the film using our regulars from the bar we worked at. After stocking up on our wardrobe from Forever 21, we gave our borrowed camera and our audio equipment to our lucky boyfriends at the time, and told them to keep up!

We shot 3 to 4 sequences each weekend for the next month. After we returned most of our wardrobe to Forever 21 before the 30 day return policy was void, we began editing and planning the screening party. While I took the lead on editing with Tessa in the cockpit, she was able to take the lead on planning the screening. Having set the screening date less than two months later (thanks Tessa!), we put our pep in our step during post production. Talk about a hard deadline!

We uploaded the final project one day before the screening. After using every alcohol rep and event resource we had, we put together an hour long mockumentary and premiere for around $300. Relive our screening experience in the gallery below.
